On a heavy trailer without a windscreen, display WoF or CoF and the vehicle licence in their required positions, with the loading certificate readily visible. A paper RUC licence may be displayed at the trailer's front left or next to the towing vehicle's own RUC licence.

WoF or CoF is normally near the rear number plate or on the right side near the rear. Vehicle-licence position rules also apply. Qualifying carriage of RUC is an alternative; attaching it to the trailer is not always mandatory.
